Logon connection problem

I have a small problem, after I logon in, I cannot join a game right away, i get a message "your connect has been lost" after the first attempt I am able to connect to any game, its only doing my head when im using xfire to join games, because I have to write down the IP everytime and my friends do not, can anyone help!!!!

Yer happens to pretty much everyone, its a pb **** up, as far as i know you can only manually update punkbuster to get rid of it.
