There's no point of that...

A) Go slow*.

B) Go high.

C) Shoot from as far as possible at the windscreen.

* Make sure of no J10s.

If you shoot from view-distance, their fate is decided roughly as the first jet cannon bullet hits the windscreen, plus it doesn't give them any time to react (as opposed to coming close). No need for missiles at all.

Not at the right altitude. I don't mean direct slowing down, but just letting go of the throttle. The point is to make a ~30 round burst hit the windscreen of the heli with full accuracy, which usually takes out both people there, or blows the heli up.

Depends on the situation, sometimes afterburning at them works better. What I'm talking about is a single burst that'll knock them of of the sky before anyone realises. I've been victim to it a few times as well, so I know it works.

Whats the best way to shoot down helicopters in this game? The ground to air missile sites seem to have a 50% accuracy rate. It seems especially difficult to shoot down helicopters as they spin in circle and shoot at a fixed point. Thanks for the help.

Tanks work wonders if you can aim the cannon. And if you cant, just use the .50 cal
