awards updating but not???

The title says it. I'll get the award in game, finish the round and check out my bfhq and it shows up saying I got it awarded recently display but then you look down where they should be showing and its not there.

Also, I go to any bf2 stat tracking sight and they have it recorded that I got the award.

Ps. The two awards I'm having troubles with are my ribbons in SF. Crew specialist and Armour transport specialist. Not that its a big deal or anything, just curious to know whats going on.

Yeah...

Just figured someone may know why. I was wondering if maybe it has something to do with the localization files but I got all my other badges and that chopper ribbon with the files edited.

Ohwell, all ears to anyone who knows whars wrong with that.

EDIT.

Now get this, I finally got that service medal for teamplay, met something. The one with 1k heal/sup/rep and 250 hours required I thinkers. So I get it and guess what, it shows up! The two ribbons I got are still not showing up though. I also noticed that I didn't get the message shown in game that I got the medal while I was on an SF server.

This leaves me to wonder if maybe its something to do with my SF files? The only way I can think to confirm this is if someone goes through BFHQ in bf2 and look at my SF awards. Hmmm, time to bug some ppl on xfire =P Lol

If you think its the locational files, did you install the pack that includes the sf files as well?

some medals not being displayed in bfhq is a known bug. not all medals will show in bfhq.

I also noticed that I didn't get the message shown in game that I got the medal while I was on an SF server.

there are some ribbons you get that you wont get an in-game award for - all the SF army ribbons are like that.
the ones you should get in-game are SF 'crew', 'armored', and 'helo', along with all the ones that require 44 kills.

Yeah I was just referring to that one medal for the teamwork stuff which lead me to believe maybe it had something to do witht he local files.

Anyways, It was a complete install of the whoe bf2 series off the BF2 delux dvd (everything on one disk and goes in the correct order automatically, YAYZ!), so me no thinks its a missing file.

So anyways I got someone to look at SF bfhq finally today and they see the same thing which then puts the problem back on EA's side of the table and not mine.

Isn't it weird though how I got the service team points medal and it shows up yet the previous two ribbons are kinda lost in cyber space somewhere? Hmmm...
