Artillery Hack?

Last night I was commanding on the ROX server, playing Oman. As I was commanding, my arty fired automatically multiple times. Almost as if someone else was controlling it. Now, I know you're thinking I've lost it, but I wasn't under the influence of alcohol or taking any hallucinogens.

Is there any reasonable explanation for this? Is there a hack out there that lets players control the arty when they're not commander? If someone else was controlling the arty, it seemed they were on my team, because every arty strike they fired killed multiple enemys. Any ideas?

Yeh there is, I've seen it.

Once some **** tried to kill me with it cuz I told him/her he/she is a skript kiddy c***t, he/she dropped arty around my area every few seconds.

Yeah, its ****. I tried blowing up my teams arty to stop our hacker. Doesnt work as about 40 supply drops come down. The only hope is being a higher rank that the kid and just keep applying for commander. The hack kicks you, but while your applying, they can't get in.

No they don't, because I was the commander and someone else was controlling my arty. But it's nice to know it is a hack, now I know I'm not losing it.

Whoever was doing it, it also seemed they had the ability to fire the arty before the arty was completely reloaded, i.e they were firing it whenever they wanted to. Interesting.

I don't command very often, so this is all new to me.

yeah its a hack. the worse part of all is that most of the ppl on the server blames u, the commander, for glitching when it is really someone else

Indeed they do. It happened to me when I was commanding once on the TV2 Server. I thought the Arty was taking a darn long time to charge up. When I zoomed in on it I saw the F***er firing off Arty rounds???

I typed in straight away that someone was hackin' my Arty and people just said "Yeah, Sure"!
Soon after I brought it to the attention of the Admins though it stopped and I regained control.

Thankfully, It's only happened to me once in 38.5Hrs of commanding.

I've never experienced it as a commander, but I've certainly been the recipient of it. It's good to know it's a hack b/c I was losing my mind trying to figure out how the arty could fire that fast.

hackers make me frown they do it in every game. this exact thing was happening around our server as well

Yer i have also seen it a few times, however it is almost pointless as they gain no points from it.

They could use it maliciously though, killing their own team members and such. Last night, I was getting the credit for the kills the hacker was making with the arty. Heh.

no they don't, but even if they did need, there's also hacks that kick the current commander out and replace whoever is using the hack as the commander. I've had that happen to me a couple times.
