I have killed tanks numerous times like that especially on sharqi. 1st spot is near TV station when enemy tank drives towards USMC tank spawn point. 2nd place is a flag that is to the right from TV station (dont remember name) when you drive onto the little hill. I have also been killed like that a few times in these points.

the tanks had to be already damaged otherwise provide video proof.

I personally don't have a problem with jihad jeeping. You just look like an unskilled noob when you kill yourself, but you look very cool if you can do it without dying. Even better, jump out of the vehicle, blow the tank, then pull out your carbine and kill a dozen or so infantry as well.

ok, I tested this on empty server and it doesn't really work but I can tell you that it is somehow easier to hit a 1 shot kill spot on the tank in these 2 positions on the map. I don't know why but most 1 shot kills happened exactly there

It does work, a clan mate and mine just did it. I shot the Abrams with a T-90 and got a deflecting shot. Instant kill. Took a bit of practice to find the right area though.

I meant that hitting the bottom doesn't work

But as I said if a tank is driving up the hill in like 30-45 degrees angle or so it is somehow easier to hit that 1 shot spot. I don't know why is that but most 1 shot kills I've experienced happened driving up the hill

i've never tested this, only read it, but on the m1 where the turret turn, when the gun is raised it has a week spot kinda like a little square there, extrememly hard to hit, i've been tryn in game, but supposivly one shot one kill with sraw or tank if you can hit that tiny spot.
anybody know if thats true?:salute:

Did it on Oman one night prior to a match. Its hard to do, and even harder in combat. Easier to do to the M1A1 as the turret is more elevated on the body. But requires a deflecting shot, usually to the far side of the turret, the idea is that the round deflects off the body of the tank and hits the turret - 2x damage. You can do this to an APC too, need to hit in the wheel well area just above the tires.

Is where the turret meets the tank the weakest spot? Yes and no. The weakest point is where the tanks main gun attaches to the tank. On the bottom there is a very tiny spot you can hit which can cause up to 14 damage (out of 20) with another tank. It can only be hit if the tank if the main gun is pointing upward on a USMC tank. The other two tanks (PLA AND MEC)can be hit in this spot no matter where the main gun is. This gives the American Main battle tank a big advantage.

Is there a one shot kill? Yes there is. Its located to the right and left of the main turret on the front. Placing a tank shell there will cause significant damage and in some cases and instant kill. The spot is not hard to hit and in most cases takes all by 4 out of 20 health bars.

I once though that I had found a spot under the T-90 that was a one shot kill. I caught it comeing up the ramp by the TV station on the sharqi map. I went and looked at the battlerecorder file and saw what really happened, I hit the bottom side, between the tracks, at an angle and the shell bounced into the tracks. Just another deflected shot where the one shot gets recorded, does the same damage, as two hits. I guess there is no spot under the tank that is a one shot kill unless you want to make the round bounce into the tracks. Even then its about a 50/50 chance that it will destroy the tank. . . . . . . . .Red

Nice one Alex ,, yes that where to hit it but try doing that in the heat of battle you have to be SPOT on as you just found out .

As far as I am aware I have done it once in 2 years and thats only beacause my Clan buddy was in another tank .

I just go for the tracks , 2 shot kill 100% for sure .
