Idk, maybe around 40-50 FPS low settings.

That's in counter strike source. I'm not sure what's good in BF2 so I can't comment.

i think 40-50 is pretty good.

my system pumps out about 25-30fps and i think its fine / smooth.

ull want jut anything above25

and yeah ur card isnt that great btw. but if u want to see how well the game will run, u can download the DEMO and try out some settings. ppl do still play the demo btw. i do sometimes too. the Demo is pretty much hte same as the real game excpet with only one map. There are some fixes/additions in the real game, but i think the demo is a pretty good representation of what hte real game is like

my old computer is a pentium 4 2.0ghz, FX5200 and 756mb of RAM and it played BF2 on everything on low with about 25 FPS. it dipped down to about 15 FPS when hit by a grenade or when scoped in with a sniper rifle on maps like karkand and jalalabad. But what's weird about the FPS dropping when using the scope is that it only does that with the L96A1, because of the smaller crosshairs. There's no fps drop using the M95, though

Hey cupcake, i've got just about the same specs as you.
FX 5700
2.5gb ram
P4 processor

I get about 40-60 fps on all low, 800x600, the only thing on med is effects. You CAN turn everything on medium, but your fps will drop to 5-15. For best preformance, i just reccomend all lows, and try to get med effects, it really makes a big difference.

*And by the way, the human eye can't detect fps above 60*

Yea, you should be able to run BF2 fine on low settings

Your PC is even better than mine, and I can run BF2 without any graphical problems, or horrible lag(just a little lag).

if u want to bump ur settings higher, u can try my guide in my sig. but i only recommend it if u r playing strictly BF2.
