i have been running bf2 on vista for about 2 months now. its went great. Last weekend i noticed i was constantly lagging and getting connection errors popping up all the time. This would lead to me being disconnected from servers or even kicking me to desktop with an error along the lines of bf2 memory error.
at first i though internet connection/router. disconnected router no differece at all. tested inet connection. no problems. done every virus, spyware scan there is. no joy
i run a core 2 e6600
8800 gtx
4gig ddr2 6400
ms vista 32 bit.
my comp should have no trouble running the game.
bee n searching for answers and everything seems to be pointing to recent punkbuster updates causing a severe memory leak.
i just built a similar spec pc for my friend and he is having exact same problems.
there has to be a solution.
