What purpose, if any, does the score at the end of the round mean (ex. USMC 243 - MEC 0)? Do these points go toward your global score and achieving your next rank?

Re: Noob Question...
During the game, its the indicator of how fast you have to act, and how smart moves you have to do, to make sure the score is in your teams favour.
Unfortunately, DICE made it more to be individual stats that counts, and not how it should be, by teameffort (no, that does not mean go medic, but not lying as a sniper when a tank enters a flag).Comment

Re: Noob Question...
Exactly. It's just the tickets that your team has.
1 ticket for a death, and then ticket bleeds for the team that has less flags than the other.
It has nothing to do with scores.Comment

Re: Noob Question...
If the winning team got a bonus for winning at the end of any round, you would see more team play throughout the game. It's really fun when those matches you win finish in the single digits in terms of tickets. IE: 6-0 / 9-0.Comment

Re: Noob Question...
once we were losing quite badly by like 20-30 points (that sounds like "badly" to me anyway) then right at the end we started pulling it back until we won 1-0 :O i was like "juuuhuuu" =PComment
