Very high ping Very low servers

:cry:usualy when im doing "update servers" i get not more then 300 servers with a 300 + - ping

how can i fix it ??

usualy i had like 800 servers with not more then 150 ping

when u click the server does the ping go down? i have alot over 300 too, & when i click on 'em they go down

System tweaking? Faster/more consistant internet connection?

Kill un needed apps running in the back ground when gaming.

Keep system clean from spyware/viruses etc

are you running the latest BF2 patch (1.41) ? you need that in order to get the entire server listings.

ok so its like that

yes i click in the order the ping from the lowest to the highest and the minimun is 300

no software or app is runing and i scan with ccleaner b4 i play and its a good program to clean uneccery stuff

and ive reinstalled twice allredy with patch 1.41 and im trying to update pb and with no success

the windows tell my that its an unleagle app in win32...wtf?

IVE FIXED IT

btw it was some windows auto update software who fight against spyware and buster and idk what but i did system restore b4 i downloaded it and its working fine now

or he could have just uninstalled the windows update and reapplied it.. system restore is a resource hog and nothing more... lets here it for Ghosting a image of your computer and not worrying about system restore :)

System Restore, the ultimate reaction to actually learning about how a PC works.

Still, useful utility, I don't have space for any disk dump images.

yeah, if you keep track of the last update, i not sure is it dated somewhere? i never really looked. i just hit restore, your right htough its usually those updates, but i didnt know restore was a system hog, i have mine set for low, only keeps track of about last 2 weeks or so.

ive had bad experience with restore, but it does come in handy sometimes - its like a mini-reversiable-safe version of formatting to me

or as i like to call it the "uh oh function"
