    JTK vs joystick

    I need some help.

Which key on joystick corresponds to which key in JTK exactly?

Im using Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, please point to right direction or even have a go at it in numerical order. Thanks.

    Re: JTK vs joystick

As far as I know, the numbers on the joystick are the same as those in JtK. They relate directly to each other.
i.e.Trigger (Button 1 according to 3D-Pro) is linked to Button 1 in JtK.

That might not be what you're asking about though? Have the numbers on your joystick rubbed off or something?

    If so:

    Button 1: Trigger.
Button 2: Button on left of stick.
Button 3: Bottom-Left button on top of stick.
Button 4: Bottom-Right button on top of stick.
Button 5: Top-Left button on top of stick.
Button 6: Top-Right button on top of stick.
    Button 7: Top-Left on base.
    Button 8: Top-Right on base.
    Button 9: Middle-Left on base.
    Button 10: Middle-Right on base.
    Button 11: Bottom-Left on base.
    Button 12: Bottom-Right on base.
    Buttons 13 - 31: Not used.

Well, for one, the hat switch doesnt respons in JTK. Im trying to play around with ETQW so I needed the list as I wasnt sure if it works like its said.

      Thanks, much appreciated.

          Hat switch is in JTK...

On the very right, there is a joystick tab, and there is an others tab. Go to others. Check "Use POV switches", now under the joysticks tab you will see like POV1:UP, that is UP on the hat.. etc etc

But I don't know if that's what you were asking. I thought you were the expert with JTK?

Use the windows configuration tool (control panel), it'll show exactly which ones are which number.

To use the hatswitch successfully you need to run two instances of JTK. One set up to mimic the pressing of "Ctrl" and another to mimic the movement of the mouse.

Im trying to map the whole keyboard/mouse onto my joystick as an experiment for ETQW. The thing is, keys 5 and 6 are switched, hat switch didnt respond and there were a few other obstacles. So I figured Id rather ask for the keys numbers, than experiment myself to death. As for the expert part, I can do a LOT with JTK, and I have, just that this bumped me right in the face. Talus is the expert though :P

Thanks guys, it really did help.
