Import bf2 objects to 3ds max

Hello everybody. I'm a complete noob with this kind of thing, but I was wondering if there was a way to import the bf2 models, weapons, buildings etc, into 3ds max 9? In case you're wondering what I'm going to do, well....nothing illegal anyway : D
