How do you fix this PB crash nightmare

Is there I way I can manually update the PB program for BF2?

I just re-installed after a format of my HDD and now I'm kicked withing 60 seconds due to a PB error.

Is it the handshaking problem or the "PB client not responding" one?

Had the handshaking thing only once. I found that this did the trick just drop out of the game and restart the computer then try BF2 once more. It will fix the problem. Also it not a hack or a cheat at all nothing like that at all

Most people are making the mistake of running the exe. outside of the BF2/PB folder.
Having the PBexe. located outside of the PB folder will not transfer the files needed in the HTM folder.
