can anyone help me, every time i start a game i get the same message saying "PunkBuster kicked player -username- (for 0 min) ... RESRICTION: Inadequate O/S privileges"

You need to run BF2 in an administrator account in XP or Vista

No, not anymore. The recent updates "fixed" () that problem. You have to run BF2 the first time as an administrator (to install PB), and then on you can play on limited user accounts. Took PB several years to catch onto one of the most basic things in security...
