I am having a major problem with my game. I go to login, everything is ok there. I go to the internet server list, I see a little over 100 servers come up (used to be 400-600...). I click on one, click connect to join. The bar completes, my client is verified, and everything seems ok. I get into the server, here gunshots, and all the sounds etc. Suddleny, on my screen pops up saying that I am having connection problems, and I time out. Now, i have been searching everywhere and have not found a solution. I have posted a ticket to EA, no reply yet. I called my ISP, to see if there was a problem there, nope. My connection is fine, all the ports are forwarded correctly, and I am not losing any packets. Now, I play wow as well. That game works flawlessly... Anybody have any idea? Also, I was told to try updating Punkbuster manually. Did that, still having the problems. Please Help! :dead:

On a serious note:
Have you asked yourself the obvious questions? They are
-Have I selected the right internet connection speed in the game menu?
-Am I playing on low ping servers?
Check your server filters as well - they may be configured only to show small maps, for example.
Also please post with computer specs, version of windows, and as many details possible about your internet connection, such as wireless or not, if you share your connection, if you download while you play, etc.

i used to have this problem also extended...my solution seemd to be updating PB manually - did nothing whatsoever (infact i still have a problem where everytime i enter the game the first server i join does not connect at all - no bars or anything)
anyway, for me i found that there is nothing you can do - my brother gets it too on his BF2...but it has stopped happening now if i sort servers by ping...pick ones with low ping but NOT 0....these are not really correct i dont know why but for me they dont even send game data...no player info or anything so pick the lowest ping one and hope ur arse offComment
