i havent tried this..but if anyone knows:

once you open your para, can u close it again in the air? and if so i have been told that u cannot re-open it again...any of this true?

You mean it's actually possible to open your parachute in bf2? I thought people using it were hacks, whenever I press 9 repeatedly it seems to accelerate my parachuteless crash

I tried this on wake does not work. Once your parachute is deployed you cant get out of it untill you hit the ground.
