It lacks two things:

-shoulder-mounted AA for the anti-tank class (if possible it should only work against jets...helos are weak enough that they can be easily downed).
-balance between J-10 and other jets (not like it'll ever happen though).

I think Bf2 should have more special commander options, and more weapons and customization. Do you think BF2 needs to be improved?

It lacks gore,
satisfying weapons (sound, power),
customization,
the seriousness and grittiness that wars/battles have (levels, backround sounds, overall atmosphere),
even a tad of realism.

That`s all I can think of for now. Feels more like Firefight 2 than Battlefield 2.

For the people that think BF2 should be more realistic go play some Ghost Recon or something. EA/Dice intened for Bf2 to be more arcade like it's not supposed to be realistic and never will.

Arcade realism like CoD4 will have would have been good. BF2`s realism is just ridiculous.

Bf2 needs.

aircraft with need to be easier to aim (some sort of line that forms a cross with the line used to aim the bomb that shifts up and down based on your angle of attack) BUT bombs should do only 1/8 to 1/6 the area damage they do which means you cant drop a bomb and kill 5 infantry that where 10m from the point of impact.

Pistols should be one shot headshot kills.

the m249 shouldnt lose accuracy so fast

umm the heli is stronger than the jet cause 1 AT missile kills a jet and 2-3 kill a heli
