    Is overheating causing this?

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend, who sometimes hasn't been able to play because of severe graphical glitches in BF2. I would like to be sure that it is what we suspect, overheating of the GPU. These glitches appear after a while of playing, which would point to overheating. I would greatly appreciate any help, or confirmation of our suspicions if possible. I think he can handle the problem himself if it is overheating (it's not like BF2 has any glitches otherwise ).

    Here are some screenshots.

These weird walls of texture appear out of nowhere, making it impossible to play.

    Funky colors.

    More funky colors.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Most probably VRAM overheating. Underclock the card, one clock speed at a time (i.e reduce GPU but keep memory as standard, then vice versa).
