hi i havent been playing for a while (since about 2 months ago during the stat updating bug) and i started again yesterday. however, when i join a server, i get kicked almost immediately with the message "no O/S privileges" or something. this is on a new computer as well so i doubt its patch problems. thanks

Play on an administrator account. There's another way around it, don't know what it is nor a link. -

its really weird cuz its never happened before. maybe its because i didnt d/l the new tampa map (i kept getting cut off)?Comment

Right click on your bf2 icon and select properties, then select Run As Administrator, and it will solve your problem. ( IF YOUR ON VISTA )Comment

the New PunkBuster version does not need admin rights to play... just update PB and you'll be ready to frag.Comment

its also possible u got a bad virus. i once got a bad virus and it toyed around with my admin rights. VX2Finder did the trick i think.Comment
