Why do so many Germans play Wake Island? There's like 20 German Wake servers, and whenever I play a server its full of people with 200 pings, from countries like Russia and Germany. I can't find a good server with a decent ping.

It fits the spirit of the Luftwaffe very well..... it's all about personal accomplishment (whoring the j10) and nothing to do with teamwork........

DEADY CONFLICT Wake Island (Infantry Only) rocks. I like to lay at the North Base flag and snipe guys going from Beach to Airfield. Teamwork is a BIG part of the fun. Search for Wake Island Infantry Only servers..there are about 3 24/7 Servers.

I don't have issues with Germans. And you have no good ping anywhere because your ISP or computer stinks. Case closed!

Wake is really hit-or-miss depending on team skills (especially pilots). I've had really good games on Dead Meat where the US gets a foothold right away and the battle goes back and forth (including losing and regaining the airfield multiple times), games where the US gets the airfield immediately (which frequently ends up with Chi losing all bases) or just dominating the game, and others where the USA never captures a point.
