First off I know this has been talked about before the red tag over some of the player on your side and Dice brought out the patch and said it was fixed. Yesterday on Highway Tampa I shot at a tank with red tag only to notice team vehicle damage. Said sorry you had a red tag over the tank and fixed him. Next saw apc with a red tag and the same thing happen but that time I killed him off. So no need to say sorry.

Has anyone else come across this lately?

Yes.. the bug.. and all other bf2 bugs are still there, just patched to happen less frequently.

I very rarely get the red tag problem now but that`s propably the cause. That or sometimes the enemy tag seems to be above a friendly because they`re right next to each other and so on.

havent had it in a while either. arent there also possible hacks where the person appears to be on the opposing team but when u kill them u get a Teamkill or vice versa. they seem to have hacks for anything

i confirm the red tag bug has happened to me AFTER 1.41

So I can take it only happens now and again. It was okay tonight no red tag at all must have been the server bug or a bug in the game. So it still is around but some seem thankfully not to have this problem.
