    Firewire1000

Keep an eye out for this guy on your servers.

He seems to be using a hack which allows him to enter a server with any ID. Last night he came into ours pretending to be one of our members. Initially we thought it was him until it became clearly obvious he was using hacks and we know for sure our clan member he was immitating does not use hacks.

Anyway after a while he started insulting people in the clan and causing problems. We traced him and thats how we know it was firewire1000.

We have proof if anyone requires it ( just ask ).

What is BF2 coming to. People spoofing id's ingame. How many people are going to end up reset because of nobless gimps pretending to be them.

There is currently a name change hack doing the rounds. Its believed that it was used to fool PB into wiping F1r3starter's stats etc...

We just had a guy using the BBUK tags banned, pretending to be a member. I'm surprised none of the anti-cheat companies have looked into this yet.

Its not Evenbalances job to fix. It's EA's job - meaning we will never see a patch for it. This sort of thing must be fixed in the game-code. SInce this was allowed, it means the client was allowed to replicate a property over the network that should've been disallowed.

If it were something in EA's code, surely it would have been found already. I honestly think it can be recognised at Punkbuster's end.

No, it's for EA and Gamespy to fix. I don't think PB could do anything without probably adding 1000 more CTDs and lag spikes.

Sure, like half of the top players are not hackers and cheaters in the first place. How can somebody have favorite victim with over 50 or even 100 kills?

                  It's still cheating though.
