:laugh:Have you ever taken apart a computer that was owned by a smoker? The fins on the fans are covered in brown tar.
I'm the type of person who will take apart and use canned air on my computer once a month. That kind of **** isn't mean to be on 2000 dollar pieces of electronic equipment.
Btw, I'm majoring in Electronics and Computer Engineering. What are you doing with your life?
"A clean environment in our opinion is one without tobacco smoke, large amounts of pet dander or outdoor pollutants (smog/road dirt/sand). If any of these conditions are present in the computer?s environment more frequent cleanings should be considered. Let?s discuss these conditions that affect the quality of a computer?s environment. Smoke; smoke can seep into the openings of your case and settle on your motherboard and other hardware. Smoke is also responsible for discoloring keyboards, mice, cases, screens and wires. Pet hair; this can be worse than dirt because of how much larger it is. Hair can easily block the ventilation of a computer system."

You did raise quite a concern with this though. You see, I run a laptop, and as a messy kid, there IS dust where I live, occasionally on the weekends, I move to place with pets. Smoke is also not really a rare issue.
How should/could I keep my laptop without getting ventilation cancer? :PComment

I'm not sure. I'll have to ask one of my friends(who owns a laptop refurbishing business). Never messed with a laptop.

usually beer, if i feel in the mood for a mans beer, its canadian, if not so much, then it's heiniken, and if i dont wan't a strong beer its usually corona. if i feel like a total wuss and can't handle my booze it usually means anything american, since its like drinking water and i can't remember the last time drinking american bud got me drunk. now canadian bud, thats a different story. theres a reason in the states you can buy liquor at a corner store but not in canada.Comment

1. Our alcohol content is the same as any other countries.usually beer, if i feel in the mood for a mans beer, its canadian, if not so much, then it's heiniken, and if i dont wan't a strong beer its usually corona. if i feel like a total wuss and can't handle my booze it usually means anything american, since its like drinking water and i can't remember the last time drinking american bud got me drunk. now canadian bud, thats a different story. theres a reason in the states you can buy liquor at a corner store but not in canada.
2. Some of our states put caps on the alcohol content of beer.
3. The State and Federal government completely control the sale of liquor(for the most part).
4. Raising the cap on the AC% means that individuals can then sell it, the state sees this as cutting into their racket (of course it really isn't).
You just have to know which beers to buy.
There's a few great Micro-Breweries in the States. Check out Dogfish Head. That one's local to me, and the best beer you can get in my opinion.Comment

see now micro breweries are a different story. i can go to any local small bremaster and get some 20% concoction if i like, but each and every time I have bought brand name (coors/miller/bud) in the states its always been 4% and goes down quicker than water. remember when you had prohibition and Al capone and various other gansters smuggled in all their liquor from canada because it was illegal in the states. ahh good times, kinda like marijiuana is now, your not allowed to grow it but your allowed to possess it. and well every second house in some parts of BC have a grow op in em, thats why BC is the biggest supplier of quality marijuana in the world..1. You sure you live in Canada? :p Over here in Montreal you can buy beer from 7-8am to 11pm at every corner store in Montreal, not to mention there are liquor stores(SAQ) all over the place..

Generally beer is 5 and 6 percent by volume. I know the Beer we usually have about 5.9%. If you're getting a 20% "beer", it's probably a barley wine. I stick to Sam Adams, though. It's definitely the best big brand beer we have over here.see now micro breweries are a different story. i can go to any local small bremaster and get some 20% concoction if i like, but each and every time I have bought brand name (coors/miller/bud) in the states its always been 4% and goes down quicker than water. remember when you had prohibition and Al capone and various other gansters smuggled in all their liquor from canada because it was illegal in the states. ahh good times, kinda like marijiuana is now, your not allowed to grow it but your allowed to possess it. and well every second house in some parts of BC have a grow op in em, thats why BC is the biggest supplier of quality marijuana in the world..
