What settings should I use

Hey all,

here's my xfire stats


Processor:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory:
1024MB RAM
Hard Drive:
104 GB
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS

and I was wondering what settings I should run to get the best of my PC, I've played around a bit but can't find something right, can any of you PC guys who know everything give me a little advice plz?

800x600, medium everything, 2xAA, maybe......

make sure you have no spyware on a regular basis, use a good HHD defrag tool and a registry cleaning tool.

Lol... Dont turn on AA. It does nothing (well almost) exept giving you massive lagg. I have 3GHZ dual core CPU, 1 Gig RAM and GeForce 6800 and i can run on all high with a good resolution, 1000x1000 something cant remember now.

I couldn't play without at least 2xAA. I can set full on graphics on my new machine, but here is 2xAA when I was playing on Al Basrah for a bit.


1280x1024 everything High, 2xAA

Looks the same as mine.. Well it might look better but i honestly cant see any difference. AA just make me lagg like hell.

Yeah But my GeForce 6800 cant handle AA:/

My 6800 runs 2 AA...based on your specs i would say terrain, textures and lighting on med and the rest on high if not move more down to med but you should be able to keep a few on high.

I just turned AA on x4 in the Nvidia settings thing. It runs smooth and looks better But when i turn A on x2 in BF2 setting it makes me lagg as hell even on Karkand. And PR becomes unplayable.

ehh I have a 7600, 1GB of ram and I run everything on medium alright.

^^Why dont you just put all on high?? If my card can handle it then your should manage that aswell

I can't stand anything lower then AA 4x, I love nice and smooth edges but then again my computer can handle it.

You don't need it turned on but with it on all the edges are all smoother. AA 2X is ok but I find 4X is a hell of alot better.

You must have nothing on your computer then. If I put it on high I would load extremely slow and wouldnt be able to even play any PR

Weird:P PR laggs like hell for 2-3 minutes after i join, but then it runs smooth
