Editing BF2 files

I've tryed searching for this..but i've got no luck, so my question is:

i've watched some videos of BF2 and whenever someone killed someone it would say: "You killed "whoever" (+2 bonus)"..how do you get the +2 bonus after you kill somone, or do anything that usually gets you points? I know you have to edit some files, but im not sure where to find these files, or which file or how to get it...any help would be appreciated, thanks.

if you want to just DL a new set of local files you can take mine. I got em off sydus and edited them further.
