New TFT Screen And bf2 Does not start

hi all its been a whille but i have problems starting BF2
i have a new screen now and it wont start any more but on my old screen
it boot fine.

my old screen was a HP 17 inch and now im on a

LG Flatron Wide could it be the res?? i did add +SZX thingy in the short cut and in Video.con

does some1 knows some thing

The saved in-game settings are not compitable with ur new screen.

You need to put your settings in BF on default..
2 ways to do so:

-Delete the map Battlefield 2 located in My documents...
-Hook up ur old screen, load game and go to options, put the video options on default settings... Res, 800x600

oke thx it works but only in 1024/768 res and if i put it in Video.con it does not boot
is there a way that it boot whit 1440/900

Yes there is,

Leave your settings ingame @ 800 x 600 and take a look at this sticky:

Note: running widescreen too, 1440x900 looks bad with BF.. (my opinion)
The latest directx (June 2007) gives more res choises in game.. Running @ 1152 x 864 60 Hz, almost widescreen with no stretching...

yea i hate streching i just played just cause and damn the guy is fat lol wil look at 1152x864 thx for the help link
