LAN isn't working!

My friend and I can't get the LAN to be working for Co-op, it's really weird. We have our wireless LAN turned on, but does normal internet also have to be working? We set up servers but they don't seem to appear on the other's server list. Any help or explanations would be greatly appreciated.

I dont know if lan has this feature but have you tried connect to IP?

for connect to IP you just send in the number, right?

yes, if the host has problems connecting try having him use his internal IP to connect.
