That pissed me off, i've bought ArmA 1, got a decent enough rig to actually play it, looking forward to the expansion and then they announce a sequel.

Eh.. it's been known forever that BI was working on a true sequel to OFP - ArmA was OFP 1.5. Up until now, "Armed Assault 2" was only known as Game2 - the true sequel to OFP.

Armed Assault 2 is gonna be the true sequel to OFP, I think so too.
The new Flashpoint (Ofp 2) that is in the works is completely by different people and might turn out to be a battlefield-like game (which would just suck balls) or a even better true sequel to Ofp.
