Anyone having trouble connecting to BF2?

Specifically logging on?

I've made no changes on my system or router and all atm I'm unable to login, or create a new account even. I'm getting the 'unable to connect, please check you network connection(s) blah, blah message'

All ports open, powered down all my connections, even did a netstat -o +1 to see if I'm even hitting the authentication servers which I am

Im on optarse cable so I can only assume they have an issue?? Anyone had similar issues of late?

im getting uber internet lag today and connection problems too

Id suggest opening specific ports, my friend had a simular problem, he opened 1 port on the firewall and BAM!

it worked, search around for the port, as i dont know it
