Can't get A-D badge

I just spent about 2 hours on 5 different servers trying to get my Basic Air Defense Badge, I spent the 5 mins in the AA emplacements and nothing, am I doing somethig wrong?

Stay in the gun until the badge pops up on screen and music plays (in game). Stay in the server until the next round starts.

BTW, it takes 10 minutes.

Just play on a gulf of oman,doesnt matter how many people,make sure you are on usmc,then just sit in the AA gun until you get the badge.When i got mine i just stayed there and shot down passing helicopters or jets, but for basic Air defense badge you just need 10 minutes i think, you need 10 kills for veteren.

Or whore the mobile AA for a whole round. That way you can get both basic and veteran in one go, as I did....maybe even expert. Very easy badges to get.

I got my expert anti air by sitting in mobile AA as commander in operation road rage. I parked my Bradley in the "housing" on the left hand side of the map overlooking the MEC petrol station base. Parking between the houses means its harder to be bombed and spotted and you can take shots and ground troops spawning at the petrol station.

if you have SF get the linebacker and just rape inf and heli's, very very easy and quite entertaining to do

Iron Gator is where I got mine. You can engage helis (knocked one down with 5 guys in it), water craft, and in some cases hit targets on the shore.

For my expert, I raped with the linebacker on Ghost Town - remember, it doesn't just count ground to air kills, you can kill infantry as well.

One extremely cheap way to do it (like I did) is to sit in any AA emplacement and get 20 arty kills as commander. Works for ground defense too.

Play commander, sit in the AA turret thing and any kills you get with artillery count towards the kills required for AA.
