Special Forces Patch?

do I need to download a different patch to play bf2sf online than the one to play the regular bf2 online or does the patch for bf2 original count for all the expansions?

The 1.41 patch patches both vanilla and Special Forces. I wouldn't know about the booster packs though, don't have 'em.

1.41 patch patches the booster packs too...make sure you re-run the 1.41 patch after every install. For example, if you install the Highway Tampa map, run the patch after you install it.

lol, why would you need to reinstall the patch after installing a map?
especially since this particular map was released *after* the patch...

you should be good then. you can check by running bf2 and if you are patched to 1.41 your version should be this number:

1.1.2965-797.0

this install order has always worked for me:

bf2 > sf > EF/AF > 1.41 > highway tampa.
