Where can i update it?

HP Compaq nx8220 i use

I googled your model, it's using a Mobile™ Intel® 915PM Express Chipset

The chipset is like a traffic officer of your system.. (someone correct me if im wrong) Updating never hurts your rig, only i'm not sure if this solves the problem..

It's worth a shot right, since you updated 90 % of ur rig now.. There arent many things left..

- Video driver.. (done)
- Chipset driver.. (done)
- DirectX (done)

People, im I missing something here, exept windows itself?

This is one of the reasons i don't prefer laptops, coz they're hard to upgrade..
I'll advise you if you want to play, get an desktop. Even a crappy one. Thats the way i started.. Just bought a crappy pc ,and with every month the speed was going faster and faster due upgrades.. It ain't cheap, I admid. But you'll get a hell of a LOT more PC then with a laptop for the same price..

d.mnit i won't buy fkin ATI carded laptop again!!!
I prefer laptops because i can't handle 1 week at different place without computer.So,i prefer laptop.
