Kicked out of game right away

I have the game and installed it, and about 2 years ago I played the game on the same laptop that I'm using now. But every time i run the game it kicks me right out to desktop. I cant even get through the credits. it kicks me out 10 seconds after i run it. Any suggestions?

onboard graphics in laptops wont work with the latest patch, havent been able to for the past few ones, the game has changed so much since the release that even know the requirements have changed.
