Hmm, so if it fits in the slot, it will 99% work? What if it dosn't work, will it cause any damage to my computer?

Re: Will this work in my computer?

I have the game and installed it, and about 2 years ago I played the game on the same laptop that I'm using now. But every time i run the game it kicks me right out to desktop. I cant even get through the credits. it kicks me out 10 seconds after i run it. Any suggestions?

Your crucial memory stick has to be the same speed (PC2100) as the ram already installed on your mobo otherwise it won't work.

it will work just fine. the question is whether or not the additional amount of ram will offset the slow-down in the speed of your memory.

            test it with programs like

            3dmark05
            superpi
            orthos

google, as i'm too far gone to post "teh linkies".

If it fits in the damn slot, it'll work. Just don't hammer it in.

edit: i suspect the additional ram will be helpful.
