    restart your router and modem

setup the ip to your computer as a static ip
(whatever your current ip and configuration is, set it as static.)
you can find the dns servers in the router

setup port forwarding in the router to your now static ip
(an easier way would be setting the DMZ your static ip)

I'm not saying this is going to work but it can help.

Usually doing a defrag will clean up the crash to desktops.

step 1.well, unplug the router and modem for like a minute or 2.
        plug em back in

step 2.go to run>then type "cmd">now you are in a dos view command prompt>type "ipconfig /all">you'll get a list of IPs>Take note of all the numbers e.g. Default Gateway, subnet mask, DNS servers>go to your internet properties and instead of checking the detect settings, input all of these numbers. If you don't put in DNS you won't be able to use URLs.

step 3.Go into your router via the default gateway. You do this by going to Internet Explorer and typing in the default gateway. It should ask for an admin and password. Usually its Admin Admin or Admin Password. Then find the thing that says DMZ, it'll be in there somewhere. Input your IP address. e.g. 192.168.15.7 or whatever.

**if you use the dns servers you find that the routers are using, go back to your internet properties and use these DNS IPs instead of the ones you found in ipconfig. This will be random ips rather than 192.168.x.x**

Do this at your own risk, but it can't mess anything up so don't worry.

bf2lag.com there u will find lots of ways to help with lag. also defrag your hard drive to make sure you have enough space and i highly doubt this, but it could be your power supply, how many watts u got?

Clear out the shader cache in My Documents...works wonders.
