SF trying to patch BF2

I just bought Special Forces and it's trying to patch my Battlefield 2 1.41 installation to 1.1... does it not auto-detect current patch version.

So my question is, did it succeed? Do I have to reinstall 1.41 over it, now, again?

SF will force you to patch to 1.1

Re-apply the 1.41 patch after SF has finished installing and patching. Its a pain but its AFAIK the only way

BF2 > SF > 1.41 > EF > AF > 1.41

just follow that and miss out stuff if you dont have it and you'll be fine (cept the 1.41 obviously)
