I loaded bf2 onto my laptop and i no longer need the disk to play BF2 as it runs from the HD. I loaded BF2 on to my Dekstop and i need the disk in the machine to play....any ideas?

I used alcohol 120% to make an image of the BF2 disc. And then i mounted that image using alcohol 120%... voila! my computer thinks the bf2 disc is always inserted.
The neat thing is, you only need about the first 5mb or so if the disc for this to work. So if you start making the image & then cancel right away, save the incomplete image & use that.Comment

I use a ***** cracks or a mini-images. For BF2 I use the latter.

No cd cracks probably are not legal considering the terms and conditions that you must agree to upon installing the game. However, if it ever went to caught, since you own the game that will probably suffice as being acceptable.Comment
