Problems Updating to v1.4

Ok so i downloaded the full v1.4 patch but when i installed it and restarted the comp when i look at the version it still says v1.1. any ideas of why it wont let me update? i already contacted EA and all they did was send me a link to their patch page.

if this problem has been posted before delete this thread and PM the link to me with the thread where the answer is posted.

The new patch is 1.41, not 1.4 :)
Try downloading the full 1.41 patch > install it > restart comp > boot up BF2 and see if you can play :)

also, after you update to 1.41 the version in the game should read: 1.1.2965-797.0
