Stutter at Beginning of a Round

ATI X1600 256mb
80gb 5,400rpm HDD
Windows XP Home SP2

My settings:

Texture: High
Terrain: High
Geometry: High
Effects: High
DL: Low
DS: Low
AA: 2x
AF: 4x

I get massive stuttering for the first 2 to 3 minutes of the beginning of a round and then it settles down at 30+ fps.

Why??? I have 2 gigs of ram.

I get the same thing on my 1GB of ram. It's normal.

yeah i get it too. ur stuttering lasts prob a tiny bit longer cuz u have a slow harddrive.
