patch 1.144 not workin after download

okay i downloaded th patch. YAY! but... after i go to here i saved it i double click,then the run thing pops up. i click run...........nothing happens. plz help u guys i know prettymuch all of u ave this patch. thanks for your support.

It takes a while for it to load, don't keep clicking it because you'll make it worse. I have a decent enough computer system yet it took around 5 minutes to actually load up.

Few things to try:

1) Load the patcher ONCE, walk away, watch some TV and then come back to see if its working. (No joke)

2) Download the patch from another location, i know it's annoying because of the size but it may rule out any problems.

If it seems like it's frozen when patching don't fiddle with it and press cancel, leave it for a bit and then if it's still doing it, press Ctrl-Alt-Del and delete the application/process.

still dont wirk i double clicked watchedn the whole thing of were in the army now. and still. nothing. i opened up task manager and nothin was there. any ideas?

can i still use the computer like play battlefeild or just mess around? or should i leave it alone. and before i do it should i restart my computer? thanks for the help guys!
