Why is my computer restarting in the middle of the round when I'm playing certain maps?

Usually a restart is hardware failing

but I could be wrong, it's sometimes a serious issue, maybe the tech forum would know more

Run spybot, + virus removal tool.

If you run out of solutions, re-installing is probably a good idea, like some said it can be fun.

i would of thought thats something wrong with ur pc not BF2

Temperatures I would have guessed. Have a look in the event log to see what's going on. But normally when a PC restarts out of the blue with no blue screen it's the CPU or something else overheating.
