Files used by the server to host the client (us), basicaly another copy of the game but with more important things, it has to make sure it knows where everyone is (location in game), bullet trajectories etc..

Or something...

Google it :/ i know i should of.

So it takes all the maps etc.. and configuration files for weapons...and makes it "server".
