No Packet Flow

Hi All,

having finally sorted out the numerous other problems PunkBuster has thrown at me I am left with 1 (hopefully) final hurdle.

No ****ing packet flow

Having read previous threads I have tried the following:

allowing BF2 through my firewall
running BF2 as an administrator
reinstalling PBuster
turning my firewall off
the only thing I haven't tried is manually opening ALL ports (because this would take a long time - or can you open a range in one go ie 00001 to 10000?)

I'm on Vista, 1MB, 2.7GHz 1MB broadband.

Any suggestions?

Bad idea with the ports.

4) Unlock BF2’s Ports: Open up all the ports in your firewall, Battlefield 2 uses ports to contact the internet, Firewalls block these ports, you will need to open them up, If you have a router, forward the ports to the computer which uses Battlefield 2 Here are a list of ports you need to open on BF2:
16567 and 16569 are the most important

Opening these will help:
UDP 27900
UDP/TCP 29900
TCP 80
TCP 4711
TCP 29901
UDP 1500-4999
UDP/TCP 1024-1124
UDP 28910
UDP 16567
UDP 55123-55125

I had this a little while ago ...all I did to fix it was to restart my computer, and do a warm start with my modem. Shut down the system, and unplug the modem, give it a good minute, and restart the modem. Then go in and restart your computer. I'm not interested in giving you the technical reasons this worked, but it did, and I have had no more PB problems. Certainly worth the try before anything else.
