CD-Key linked to online account?

Hi guys, I just got a copy of BF2 for free for pre ordering MoH (just the disc, no retail box). So my question is that is this cdkey going to be tied to the online account I created? I only ask b/c they have the boxed retail of BF2 for 5 bucks and i would rather have a retail key tied to my account then this preorder version of the game.

Ive looked all over the net for info on this and I havent found anything that really explains my question so ya im hoping that the keys dont link to an online account.

No it is not cdkey specific with any account you create.

I am on my like 10th BF2 key and install since i lose my paper work so much and cds.

ok thats good news! thanks alot. Im going to go then and make an aco**** and finally play some BF2!
