DOes the p90 make anti tank a more viable all-rounder kit?

I love anti-tank rockets on armor-heavy maps (and trying to hit choppers with them is fun!) but at the moment, as far as my unlock-spending has gone, I can either take the bog-standard gun that comes with the kit and sprays bullets like it was aiming to take down an entire barn door, or the .. I forget the name, but that massive automatic shotgun that nobody stands a chance against close-range.

As much as I like the close range shotgun, I feel handicapped on large maps having to use my pistol in long range encounters. The P90 seems to have a nice large clip and an excellent scope (gotta love those laser-sights). Is it worth getting over the L96A1? (I have the barret already. It eats faces).

I prefer the DAO, the p90 has its uses, but longe range it ain't pretty, at close/medium, it's pretty effective, and the DAO just rocks all enemy socks in close quarters. And the SRAW just make medic whores mad.

I do fine with the stock guns when shooting at long range they are actually accurate just weak. The SRAW or ERYX though are good at long range so I usually that and the DAO-12.

Hmm .. I think I'll jack some dead guys' kits until I have tested out the P90. The other option is engineer, either the little uzi style thing or "jackhammer" but I rarely play that kit.

P90 is worthless at long range. at short range, the DAO has it beat. medium range is the only advantage it has over other AT weapons.

as for the large clip, it'll be gone in no time.

You have to be ****ting me. The P90 is equally as powerful as the DAO if you aim.

At long range on single shot, it hits quite well, but don't expect to go sniping any time soon.

from the thread opener, i would say that you are half way there to making your decision. if you get on so well with the M95, then pick the P-90. my last set of unlocks i got were the L96A1 and the P-90, and to be honest i have only ever picked the L96 a couple of times when i first got it, mainly to see what the fuss was about. 9/10 i choose the M95, its just what i've gotten used to.
whereas with the P-90, it is the only AT kit gun that i will pick now. not because it is a fantastic gun, but because for me, it gets the job done best out of the 3.
if you don't play engineer that often don't waste the unlock till the end. i have the jackhammer and i think its a pile of ****, i just go with the stock weapon.
mwillin are you serious? on single shot the accuracy is pretty good, i have picked them off from afar with it many a time.

The P90 spits out bullets like freakin' no tomorrow! It has a 50 round clip, big deal, and it mows down the opposition [if you can actually hit anything] but all in all it's not that great.


Although spraying n00bs love it.

ok, let me rephrase. compared to most other guns in the game, the P90 is worthless at long range.

ok thats a very fair comment as it is only meant to be short range anyway, but what i mean is, on single shot it can pull off the job very well considering that.

Get the P90, you will love it!!!!

I agree with Ham... With the P90 on single shot I've out flanked and hit snipers from wayyy far away. They never knew what hit them

all you need for long range with AT is the SRAW. Bigger area of effect then a p90 bullet perfect for hitting prone snipers.

when i pick up a p90 its quite good for about 10 secs before i realize that it is turd long distance, for me that is.

I suck with the anti-tank kit anyways. I will just leave it at that.
