Battlefield 2 Weapon Unlocks problem

hi
ive been playing battlefield 2 for like 3 months and i am currently a
Master Seargent.
i cannot unlock any of the third level weapons like the scar-l or p-90
i have all of the badges at basic atleast
i have the G36 and G3 most of the second level wepons
but i just recently went up a rank and it still wont let me unlock the "better" weapons
i was looking at other ppls profiles and some were lower ranked than me but had the third level of wepons unlocked and were using them

Could someone please help Me???

you need to have the 'special forces' expansion pack. once you have played a round of special forces, you will have access to those unlocks, and you will also get 2x the amount of unlocks you normally get. An alternative is to have someone log in with your account and play 1 round of SF.

ok.. i am in the same boat.. just have original vanilla BF2.

I had a buddy who owns SF - log on my character, and play a full hour on my account.. I still didn't get 2nd tier unlocks.. I waited till I got promoted to staff sergent, got only 1 unlock.. I have a few questions that I can't seem to get an answer for - even after using the search buton.

1. Is it because my buddy only played my account on Strike at Karkand?

2.does he have to play my account on a SF map?

3.If he plays a SF map with my account, and I am currently Staff sergeant, how many unlocks will i get to make up the difference? I curently have 4 unlocks.

he needs to play on a SF map, and complete 1 round and get a minimum of 1 points, u should revieve 4 unlocks if u already have 4.
