A little help

I was wondering if the 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS is a good card and what settings i could run with 1 gb of ram,

That's a pretty good card. You can run most settings on high, textures medium, dynamic lights and shadows medium, and 1280x1024 res

its alright, but ppl say it plays like a 7600 GT with DX10 support.

Ram hungry game :nod:
Upgrading to 2GB ram is the first step.......... GPU comes second (any card will bottleneck without the RAM to support it!)

I disagree I played with 1 gig with no problem.

yeah ram was my biggest 'concern' so may upgrade later on, but i shall see how it runs with 1gb.
