Glitchy problems while playing BF2 (Video Inside)

Hello I've kinda noticed these issues getting worse if 2 years ago I could run Battlefield 2 on my 1.0Ghz intel celeron proccesor with 512MB of ram and some random old crappy video card. Then why cant it run on a new:

Proccesor: AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual-Core Proccesor 3800+ ~ 2.0Ghz
Memory(RAM): 2gigs aka (2048MB) of RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce 7300 LE (512MB)
Windows OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit. (I really didnt want to mention that because I want yall to look at the real issues, not say "ZOMG YOUZZ RUNNIN ON WINDOWZ VISTA, NO WONDER UR GAMEPLAY SUXXERZ"

I have all the latest drivers / updates.

Change your connection speed in options to Cable instead of LAN

Lol your like a freakin genious. I didn't know that could make a diffrenece if anything I thought by marking T1 meant faster speed.
