performance issue

Hi!

I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 with a core2duo 2Ghz memory 2GB 677Mhz and a Geforce go 7900GS.
I have installed BF2+SF.
My configuration is set to medium-high with no dynamics shadows and lightning at 1920x1200.
BF2 and SF day maps have a very good performance, but the night maps have an unplayable performance.

So, i dropped the config to low at 1024x768, the performance on night maps is the same.

I´m running vista 64 bits so i don´t have official drivers enough to test.

I have the hope i can fix this because i love night maps and don´t want to upgrade to windows xp 32

Someone knows whats the problem or how to fix this?

Update the drivers, www.nvidia.com, or http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_do...etadriver.html for the 163.11 betas (perfectly stable).

the beta driver can´t install because it says it has no drivers for my hardware.

any other drivers i can try¿?
or other solution?

I have many optimizations but it´s not because of that, day maps have a great performance but night ones are unplayable. It seems to be the drivers.

But i have no alternate drivers for my card/OS config, not from Nvidia, nor from Dell.

Are there any unofficial drivers like the Omega ones but for Vista64?

anyone more has suffered this and has fixed it?
