'There is a problem with your connection'

I know you must of seen this topic a million times (if not o well) but i am in desperate need. I've had this same problem once before but i found the root of the problem which was Dell network assistant interfering with something causing this message to pop up and in turn lead to my death. This time it's different as my computer was recently sent back to Dell and had a number of things done to it, one of them being, reinstalling XP. However Dell Network can't be the problem this time as it wasn't installed back in by Dell. I AM using Wireless, However it shouldn't be a problem as it has worked previously with the same adapter and the same connection 54MBPS. I've turned off EAX and VOIP, i have the latest patch installed and am really starting to get hacked off about this.

Please help, i would be very Grateful. :)

    What r your system specs?

How much coverage is on your wireless?

Have you scanned you pc for viruses, malware, adware?

    What speed is your connection?

If you are using the Belkin wireless feature you should have a icon at the bottom right of the desktop menu bar, look for it & double click it. It will tell you your coverage (higher is better)

Follow these instructions if you are using Windows Vista Wireless Network Adapter.

Is signal strength what you're talking about if so it's full with 5 green bars.

Have you updated Punk Buster manually?

Download this file, place it in your BF2\PB File & run it.

If it updated now try and play some BF2, is it does not disconnect you have solved it, if it does, come back here.

yep i've done that, it doesn't disconnect it just lags really bad when that message comes up, every 33 seconds for 3-5 secs

                      so it hasn't worked

Do you know if your ISP is having network problems? Ring them up and ask.

If it has just started to occur then maybe there is a fault with your connection, ring your ISP and explain what problems you are having.
