Install problems BF2

This is my last resort because i'm truly stumped

Problem: While installing its all hunky dory untill it asks me to insert disk 2. SUPER! I take disk 1 out and put disk 2 in and hit the "retry" button.

GTFO.. 10 seconds later I get the nice error ring from windows and a pop-up from the installer saying "Instalation failed, please start from the beginning"

GAH!!

All this 2 hrs after a fresh Windows reformat and install of all my drivers and firmware.

Dont post saying " go google it"

I did....

I tried to manualy install
I tried to contact EA but they are busy tossing eachothers garden fresh salads
I reformated (again) to make sure it was a super clean install
I've punched a wall
I fixed the wall

Then I posted on Totalbf2 for your help!

HALP!

First person to find my problem and help me fix it, 10$ payal.

System Specs Would Help!

And have you got the right drivers for everything, same problem happend to my friend, he re-formatted 5 times because he screwed up with drivers and basically it ruined pc, resulting in re-formatting...

He tryed installing BF2, and got same message, in the end he got it right!
